About Our Family
Audrey Cooper » Owner, Director
After working as an apartment manager for several years, Audrey obtained her Texas Real Estate Salesperson license and began working as a leasing agent for Quest Apartment Locators in 1976. Within a year, Audrey began managing the Fort Worth office of Quest and then purchased the Fort Worth office in 1990, eventually renaming it Quest Property Services to incorporate all the services offered. In 1994, Audrey became an active member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), for which she served on the national Membership Services Committee for several years, as well as, having served on the local Fort Worth/ Mid-Cities Chapter of NARPM as a board member for six years and as chapter president for one year. Audrey has been involved with other industry-related association memberships, including the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors (GFWAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Audrey's passion for Quest has always been to offer superior leasing and management services to help owners of investment property free up their time and ease their minds from the many responsibilities associated with being a landlord. Now retired, Audrey still maintains some ownership of the company and contributes as a consultant.
Erika N. Hashem, RMP®, MPM® » Owner/ President, Broker, Realtor®
Erika began working in the multi-family industry in 1986 as an Assistant Manager and Manager. Finding her niche, she earned her Texas Real Estate Salesperson license in 1991 and began working for her mother, Audrey, as a leasing agent for Quest Property Services. Erika, already very familiar with Quest, quickly realized the need for the company to offer full-service management. She created a program, became the Property Director of the leasing and management division and Quest began offering management services later that same year. As the company grew, Erika maintained a diligent course to earn her Texas Real Estate Broker license, as she believes a real estate company is best served with a licensed broker who is involved with the company at a leadership level. Less than three years later, Erika became the principal broker of Quest Property Services in 1994. She joined the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) in 1994 and remains very active in that association, having served and/or chaired many of its national committees, served two years as a national Director and two years on the executive committee as national Secretary. She also served as a board member of the Fort Worth/ Mid-Cities chapter of NARPM for five years and is a former president of the chapter. Erika has active memberships with the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors (GFWAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Erika's desire is for Quest Property Services to continue to lead the residential management industry by offering the best services to owners and tenants. As Broker, she recognizes the many pitfalls that can occur in a landlord-tenant relationship, so she remains adept of new and changing laws, while focused on how to best serve and protect the interests of both parties and the property.
John P. Hashem, RMP® » Owner/Director of Business Development, Realtor®
John earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Finance Degree at the University of North Texas. In late 2010, he joined Quest Property Services to work with his wife, Erika, and mother-in-law, Audrey. He initially served as Administrative Manager, learning and overseeing many of the company's internal systems and structures. John became a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) in 2010 and served for two years on the national Membership Services Committee. As a member of the Fort Worth/ Mid-Cities Chapter of NARPM, he served four years on the local board and is a former president of the chapter. John has active memberships with the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors (GFWAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). In 2012, John earned his Texas Real Estate Salesperson license and is currently the Director of Business Development. John has a true desire and great ability to serve others and believes this position gives him multiple opportunities to do so.
